Frank.....thank you so much. I am so glad that I put you on to this BE recording. Just listening to it reminds me of the taste and immaculate execution that he possessed. I shall practice it so that maybe there might be a few phrases that I play that will remind me of how he played it.
This recording is a testament to that fact that 'diarrhea of the fingers' is not where it's at. If I had to describe him in one word it would be 'TASTE'. I never heard him play anything that I never wanted to hear again.
