Hey,

I just came across an early 50's Fender Triple Neck Custom. The bottom neck isn't passing any signal....seller doesn't know why. Otherwise it's clean with legs and case.

Assuming the absolute worst, and the pickup is dead, can they be rewound? If so, any price guesstimate?

Tempting.

I think $900 is a great deal. The pickup can be rewound. I believe Jason Lollar does them? If it's as clean as it appears to be, I'd grab it...

Had to restrain myself when I saw it on Reverb last week. Don't see how you could lose on that one.

Hoo boy......I did a bad, bad thing. Devil

Three?!?! I can't even play one!! Time to obsess about which tunings I'm gonna get confused on...... Shocked

C6, definitely

I think I want one tuned to a variation of guitar Open G, so I can transfer some of my straight slide blues, rock and singer-songwriterly stuff.

Hmmm......maybe E13 on the other!?!?

Cool! You might also check with Rick Aiello about rewinding the pickup. I think he does the trapezoid pickups. Or just not worry about it until you're ready to learn a third tuning!

Nice!!

...maybe check the wiring on the neck-select switch before tearing the pickup out!
Wink

Cheers,
Peter

I'm currently learning Leon's e13. It's tough to figure out, but it's starting to come together and is a very cool tuning. I highly recommend as a second tuning to C6. Congrats on a cool guitar! I have its two necked brother. Love it.
