I used to use a slightly modified Newman settings, referenced to 440. I had tried the Newman settings at 442.5 and never liked it. I got the new Peterson StrobeOPlus HD and tried the Sweetened Peterson settings, at 442.5, and they worked. That's been almost two years ago.

I have the Peterson strobo stomp and love it. C6 and E9 both.. Do a tiny bit of "beat reduction" if needed, but it gets you pretty spot on

I have found the presets to be unsatisfactory to my ears. They get most guitars close but there is always tweaking needed in my experience. Since every guitar is different and has a unique amount of cabinet drop, there is no guarantee that Peterson's presets will tune your personal guitar satisfactorily. You can however use the Peterson tuner to create your own presets that are unique to your guitar, which I find to be a more useful feature.

What Leo said. Every guitar needs its own offsets.
