I have these old blue Belden cords that I've had for about 25 years. Are these still good? Does anyone use them anymore? What is the latest hot set up?
thanks,
Jon |

Jon, I have used the same Belden cable for years. This year I bought some George L cable at the Texas show. I am hanging onto those old blue cords just in case of an emergency. |

I bought some of the blue Belden cable about 25 years ago after Tom Bradshaw recommended it. I bought 100 ft of cable and several Switchcraft plugs and made several cables of various lengths. I am still using them and have never had any major problems. |

I use Belden 8410 cable and Switchcraft 1/4" plugs for my cords. I made the cords I currently use in 1978 and they're still good. It's too bad Belden no longer makes 8410.
Keep on pickin'!

Yeah I've been using blue Belden cable since 1978 without any problems, but I'm going to try out the George L's stuff and see what all the commotion is about - it will be interesting to see if there is any improvement or not ! |
