Looking at a D12 MSA. But scared of the weight of the thing. Anybody know how much these things actually weigh? _________________ '02 Carter S-12 uni

My D12 Williams is about 40 lbs, add the case(standard case, not the road case) and I'm guessing it's around 55 lbs total, less than most D10's. A great guitar also. _________________ 2016 Williams D12 8 x 8, 2015 Williams D12 8 x 8, 2023 Williams S12 4 x 5, Milkman Amps, 1974 Gibson Byrdland |

My old MSA D 12 with 10 pedals and 5 levers is well over 90 lbs. To think I toted it around for years . . and played very little C 6!
But it was sturdy!

Yes, they are not the light weight but they stay in tune don't break strings and depending on the pickups they sound good. Had mine for 21 years till I traded it for a D10 otherwise I'd still have it. You know it's a midlife crisis for a prettier steel _________________ Williams D10 400 keyless ,95 Pedalmaster D10 Nashville 400,Fender Vibrosonic |
