I am considering a new amp and would like opinions from anyone on these 2 amps especially if you have or have had both.

I have had the Telonics Combo for a while now Andy and it's a very impressive amp - 500W and light weight (17kgs/37.5lbs) ... It is very feature rich and also has a 19" rack slot to add the FX unit of your choice/or not.

I fly with this amp a lot because of it's light weight and robust construction - just with a D2F cover and luggage strap....it's never missed a beat and I can get the same wonderful rich textures from it that I get from Telonics rack system.

Sorry I haven't tried a Quilter so can't compare.

I bought a new Steelaire and I personally love it 36 or so lbs. Great volume, small or large venue and love how it sounds, it took me awhile to warm up to it from my Nashville 1000 but this is a good solid amp. Still doing some different settings , but I love it

Good to know Randy but so far I haven't heard from anyone who has tried both. I heard the Telonics only weighs 25 lbs. with a 12" speaker.

I had a store for 18 years and can still get a bunch of new stuff wholesale.

The only Jerry I've heard of specializes in left handed guitars and works out of his house.

Thanks guys, I already found an unbeatable price on the Steelaire.

I'm still looking for a comparison to the Telonics.
