I have a Iseman Weissenborn style guitar that I am attempting to install a pickup in. I tried an LR Baggs M1A but the string spacing on the Weissenborn is wider than an acoustic guitar and the high and low Es don't line up with the poles and sound weak compared to the other strings. I removed the Baggs and installed the tried and true K&K pure mini. Has a wonderful natural sound but when I use a pedal for a little more bite on a blues tune it sounds like crap to me. Does anyone have a recommendation for a soundhole pickup that will cover a wider string spacing at the soundhole. This is getting expensive. Thanks in Advance

The K&K Pure Mini sounds a lot better through their Pure XLR preamp. The phase setting alone can bring out a better tone.
