Why does everyone on Ebay think their old lap steels are rare and price them out the wazoo ?

It's probably greed. Some sellers list their guitars very high in hopes that some unaware buyer will come along and pay the price. I've seen sellers list the same guitar over and over at a high price and it does not sell. Seems like a waste of time. Oh Well

They list a best offer and then get offended when you offer what it's worth . Had one seller come of his asking price from 400 to 380 best offer ?

Because they are related to the folks that advertise their old lap steels on Craigslist.
