E9 RKR Feel stop

I can't feel my feel stop. Emmons PP E9. If I push the lever with my hand I can feel it but with my knee I pass right through. Is there something I can adjust to make the feel stop more stiff or similar?

Put a pair of vise grips on the main return spring,, pull it out a bit, and move the collar. This will make the D-C# drop stiffer
