I have a guy who contacted me about his ShoBud Pro I. He needs some mechanicial issues addressed.
He lives in Texas and rather then refer him to someone out of Texas, I thought I'd help him find someone in his area. Any Texas Techs for ShoBud?
Thanks |

Duane; TEXAS is a mighty big "area". The "Area" of Texas can actually hold 3 or 4 regular states....ha...
So where in Texas is your friend?

Texas is huge. You judge distance here by hours, not miles. You can drive 7-8 hours and still be in Texas!
If Ricky is busy, I'm not too backed up. Unless he needs a major restoration, I can get it out in a reasonable time.
I'm near Austin/Georgetown/Temple.

Thanks Ricky and guys...for an update, the gentlemen has not responded back yet to give me his location. The contact was a short voice mail in which he just mentioned living in Texas and looking to have his Pro I worked on.

Ricky said 3 or 4 regular states. Rhode Island isn't a regular state. |

Back in the 1950's they used to sell postcards at some of the "tourist attractions" along the highways that crossed this big ol' state.

I once moved from Brownsville, TX to Colorado. The drive took us up and out through the panhandle. I remember it taking us almost a day to do so but that's when the speed limit was 55mph.
Always wondered what the distance was so I just checked Mapquest and it says 909.64 miles, 14 hrs 5 mins and that's at 70mph most of the way to the TX/OK border and that's all in Texas.
As a west coast reference, distance from Imperial Beach, CA (at the border) to Hilt, CA at the CA/OR border is 793.69 miles, 13 hrs 3 mins.
East coasters, going from Miami, FL to Richmond, VA is 942.97 miles, 13 hrs 50 mins and involves 5 states.
