I purchased this beautiful Shot Jackson Commemorative new in 2007. It's only been out of the house once on a gig. I believe it was the first D-10 that was delivered, (right along with Bobbe Seymour's D-10). I hate to part with it but it needs someone who will play it and appreciate it's wonderful tone, beautiful natural lacquer finish, precision machining and highly figured maple. Pedal action is very easy and smooth. It stays in tune and best of all it rings like a bell. Great sustain too. This beauty was hand-built by David Jackson and is serial# 025DJ. I've got about $5300 invested. Best offer over $4000 will be accepted. Shipping to lower 48 only please. Thanks for looking. TC

TC, what's the interchangeability of the lowers on this guitar? Can any string be lowered by switching the hardware around or does each string that's going to be lowered have to be set up to do so at the factory? Perhaps some closeups of the undercarriage could illustrate your answer.

Bump on a beautiful fall day - This is really a remarkable instrument.

Changes to the pedal set up are possible but not easy.

I am open to offers and will answer any questions.

Sorry for the delay in posting. Here's the copedant. You may notice pedal 4 is the Franklin pedal. David Jackson put it on for me but recommends not having two lowers on the same string. It's involved to tune both lowers. Other than that it's a very stable tuning system.

You say earlier that changes are possible but any prospective buyer, like myself, would need a little more information. Specifically, the lowers on the knee levers, are they swappable between other knees and if so, how?

I talked with David Jackson about this. He said he won't change/add lowers on any Shot Jackson Commemorative model. It gets complicated fast. I believe that this guitar is set up with more lowers than any other. Raises are no problem but tuning more than one lower on the same string requires special knowledge.

I'm not really talking about adding lowers. Say the E's lower on your LNR, can I put them on RNL as easily as most other all pull guitars or do mods need to be made to the body and or endplates?

I believe lowers are tuned on the key head end, and raises on the changer end of the guitar....
