Will super glue melt the old MOTS finish ? Have an oldie that has some flaking. _________________ Got time to breathe,got time for music

I don't know about super glue, but I had good luck once using contact cement(the kind you apply on formica). It is available in small bottles. You need to apply it to both the flake and guitar body and let dry for a few minutes before making contact. You will not be able to move the flake after contact, so make sure you have it placed right before making contact. Harry |

I was using super glue for a repair and some got on the MOT. It didn't "melt" it, but it did seem to change the sheen a bit. It looks a bit cloudy in those spots in certain lighting. _________________ "Don't be mad honey, but I bought another one" |
