What gauge wire does Peavey use for connecting the speaker to the amp.
I am installing a Telonics 12" speaker in my NV112 and want to make some longer leads on the speaker wires.
I have some radio shack 22 gauge hookup wire, but am not sure if that is a correct match for the NV112. |

#16 wire or "zip cord" (AC power cord) will work. The 22 ga is too small. |

Ended up using 18 gauge...16 gauge is heavier than what Peavey is using in the NV112. The leads I added to the Peavey leads are only 3" long. Uses spade connectors with "shrink" and left the other end bare wire for connecting to the Telonics posts.
If I ever want to use the Blue Marvel speaker again I have the original connectors still intact. |
