I'll bet he is because Paul was in Reno with Vince Saturday. I had a gig that night but friends said he was great and the show was 3 hours long. Nice to see a major artist doing a good long show.

Matt yes I am going, even if Vince does a single I love his music. If Paul is there then my day will be complete, good fair food, little Miss Patti, friends to hang with and maybe even get to see YOU.

What a great show! It was just about the best $35 I've ever spent. Almost two hours of fantastic music. Paul sounded terrific as did the whole band including Willie Weeks on bass. The crowd was enthusiastic and appreciative of all the great playing.

Larry, it was good to see you there...

This is great news -- I hope he plays Friday with Vince at our fair in Monroe, WA -- I am very excited to see Vince, but if Paul is there as well I will walk home a happy happy man.

All the best.

The sound was the best outdoor mix I have ever heard, did I say ever. You could almost hear them breathing. Vince must have his own tech's who really knew his music.

Now I must say the musicians played in that Vince Gill tradition of less is more, and for that the sound guy gave them all their due.

It helps to have the band leader love pedal steel as Paul was featured a lot and had the most out front steel sound you could imagine. None of this buried in the mix business.
