OK, I'll get the list started, although it's much outdated by now. When my Franklin was new, (11/14/01) the S/N was 0192. [The best PSG I've ever owned!] Also the best of the (3) that I've owned since ’80. I've owned S/N 024 and S/N 069 in past years, and all new, and all great guitars!

I only have one; don't need another one, it plays the same as when I bought it in 1980.

Tom;
That was when Paul was winding his own P/U's. I was sorry when he stopped doing it himself. They wer good P/U's, but; he said they were too time-consuming to do and started using Bill Lawrence. Then Geo. L's and now back to B.L.'s again. Actually, I liked them all!

My Franklin is #014.
When I got mine it did have the original Franklin PU's. I now have BL PU's but still have the Franklin's. Just curious as to the total D10 made to date.
Thanks Andy.

I hate to admit this, but I'm not sure where to find the serial number for my Franklin! Where is it located? I'll check it out today when I get to the studio.

My D10 Franklin is #129. Paul said it was made sometime in the early 90"s. Last I heard someone just cancelled an order so there is a brand new black D10 available. Something very special about Franklin steels.

As I mentioned in the 1st. Reply to this thread, my Franklin which I picked up on 11/14/01 was S/N 0192 of the D–10's. Due to past conversations with Paul Sr. my best educated-guess would be that at this time he has probably reached #200±², allowing for time spent on other models and other misc. projects. The only way to know for sure is for someone to ask him while at the St. Louis ISGC on Labor Day Week-end!

I bought my D12 (the only one ever made as far as I know) around 1987 or so, #111. Picked up a S12 from Paul Sr. in 1998 #184. Love them both.
