Hello Bishop Ronnie:
Another good one from you. It made my day and brought a smile to my face.
As always, keep them coming.
Best regards.

Hi Ya! John! (Faulkinbury)
It`s good to hear from my fellow steelers. If I can bring a smile to my listener`s face, then I have done my job. As the late Jimmy Durante used to say: "Smile and make someone happy, and then you will be happy too!" Be blessed my friend, and be happy too!

Hey brother Ron, that was really very nice and inspiring to listen to
early in the morning, even tho I'm so worn out, I can't tap my toes.
I was hoping to post something new, but haven't practiced in 3 weeks.
Jean and I are trying to get everything done before winter gets here.
Hopefully before long we'll get done and things will be back to normal.
Be blessed and keep picking those great tunes that we always enjoy.

Hi Carl! (Kilmer)
Let me say right away. Please take it easy! You(we) have to remember, that "we" are not 20 years young anymore, even when we think otherwise. Remember, every day that we open our eyes, is another day above ground. Thank HIM, for that. Also, when ever you get back into full operation, those of us who love you, and Ms. Jean, will be waiting for that next
tune when ever you get around to it. Okay? So take as much time as you will, because, I will be among those who will be waiting for Mr.Lucky, and Ms.Jean.
God Bless! my friends, and I`ll be waiting.

Hey Roy! (Heap)
Glad to hear from across the pond. I trust that all is well with you and yours. Yes, It is a good road to travel except, when it tells you to take cover because, there is a storm on the way! Ha-ha. Thanks, as always my ole friend. I thank you always, for your support, for it is good to know people such as yourself, and others, on both sides of the pond. Be blessed all of you.

Yep, Ron always seems a happy soul. I bet he never lets anything get him down for long.
I missed this one. Hey, you're getting jiggy with it. A bit faster than your usual recordings. As you say, heading fast down the freeway, no doubt on the way to a gig somewhere, with your sleeping bag rolled up to one side. (Yes, I do watch the video, not just listen to the music. )
Another little gem, Ronnie. Keep it up. |

Hey Al! (Brookes)
Jiggy with it?? Ha-ha! Will Smith would be proud! Thanks my friend, I needed that. And you know you`re right, it is easier to be happy than sad. I guess that is why, I always have tried to see things with a smile, even when I have had to shed a few tears at certain times. Also, I am glad to hear you say in writing, that you watch the video, not just listen to the video. I think everyone should observe the way things are arranged in the video. For instance, one might think that the bedroll to my left in my vid is there for me to be ready for a gig. But the reality is, one might never know when one has to make a fast getaway, when a domestic storm might gather suddely !!!( )
Be blessed my friend!

I think we have the same philosophy, in many ways, Ron, though our beliefs may differ from time to time. We can't expect life to always be the way we want it, and sometimes I think adversities coming our way strengthen our characters, more than a life of laziness and affluence ever could. They give us fortitude, and we should always maintain a positive attitude, which spreads like a virus to everyone around us.
Apart from seeing your happy face, I like to watch the videos to see how your hands move, by seeing which I can try to figure out how you create your unique sound. |
