Hugh, I didn't get your PM... try to send me an email through the forum, or you can contact me through my web site... it seems that I have little problems with my forum PMs...

yes, pretty easy to see whats going on under this baby, this guitar is all about the tone...plenty of room to add as many knee levers as you like, if you want it...

Damir, what is the raise/lower capability of that system. Single? Double?

Kevin, it is a pull/release changer, with 3 holes per finger, but that's about all I can tell you, I'm not pull/release expert, maybe someone else would know more about capabilities of this system...

From looking at the underside photos, it looks like the E9 neck is Day setup, with the 'C' pedal raising string 4 only, and the single knee lever is lowering the 8th string.

The guitar seems to be set up for raises or lowers, but I know that this pull-release Marlen can be set up to raise and lower, as I own one almost identical Very Happy

Richard, thank you for explaining some things, I'm not very familiar with pull/release changers, I only know they have a great tone, and they can be setup with some pretty advanced changes... this guitar can be kept and plays just the way it is, or more knee levers can be added if needed.

I thought this beautiful guitar wouldn't last a day on here, someone needs this beauty in his collection...if I was a rich man, I would have this gem set up in my living room 24/7 ...

If the air on my wife's car hadn't died the same day you listed it on craigslist, I'd have had it before it ever made it here. I think it was God's way of letting me know I already have enough guitars! It's really a disease I think.
