I want to install an L pad on an extension speaker and I am not sure how to connect the three posts on the pot to the input jack and the speaker. Could one of you folks explain how to do this, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thank you,
Marty |

If you google 'l-pad wiring' you'll find the image you need.
Basically, put the amp into 1 & 3, and take the speaker off of 1 & 2. Choose the rotation direction you want... most folks choose clockwise = louder, so you'd make it so terminal 3 is closest to the end where the wiper ends up. Terminal 2 is the center one, obviously. _________________ New FB Page: Lap Steel Licks And Stuff: https://www.facebook.com/groups/195394851800329 |

Stop.
What kind of amp? Tube or SS?
No offense meant, but if you don't really understand what you are doing you could seriously "hurt" the amp, or attenuator, or both. |
