I have acquired a Fender 400, but it has one cable set missing (for the fourth pedal) All I have of it is the hook that connects with the bell crank at the end of the pedal rod. Been searching the net, and the forum, for some mention of spares, or somebody who can make me the cable set. Any suggestions?

I have some of those pulleys and loops. Which pulley do you need -- the older version with the round housing or the later version with the triangular (sort of) housing?
Send me an email or PM.

Chris

It's the triangular pulley-housing, Chris. I suppose I might eventually find someone who can assemble cables for me, but the fittings, like the pulley etc, and the hardened hook assembly at the bridge end would be hard to reproduce. It's be great if you had a full cable set up for the fourth pedal, but I'll take pretty much anything at this point. Let me know what you've got and what you want for it.
Thanks,
RD

I have a triangular pulley and the two cables with brass tubes are the newer style shaped loops that fit over the fingers.

I have lots of new cable so you can solder the appropriate length to the end of the yoke pulley.

I have lots of replacement turnbuckles from an aircraft parts supplier if you need it.

I do not have a functioning Fender hook and turnbuckle.

You can make a turnbuckle easily enough with LH and RH taps and dies, rods and tubing and some flux made for soldering stainless steel. Or, you could simply solder a hook inside a tube and solder the tube to the cable and between the endplate pulley cassette and the changer you can place the aircraft turnbuckle -- make your length adjustment in the middle of the cable e=rather than at the pedal crank.

You can have the pulley and the cable with the two finger loops; an aircraft turnbuckle; and, a new length of cable for $40 plus shipping.
