My band had the pleasure of playing with New Riders of the Purple Sage in Syracuse last week. This is the only picture I took.

Yes, that's the one Ken. Larry Hilt built it for him...(lots of Dekley similarities)

I'm pretty sure Jim Smith could tell us something about this Buddy Cage steel.

Larry originally built the guitar for himself, but Buddy convinced him to sell it to him. Most of the parts are Dekley, but Larry added more of his own ideas.

Here's a blowup of the logo. It says:

HILT
PEDAL STEEL GUITAR COMPANY
NEW HARTFORD, CONNECTICUT
USA (I think)

Yeah, my pictures weren't that great. I didn't have much time after sound check.

Cool to see Buddy's rig and cool to have Buddy's rig discussion but let's also say, cool that you shared the stage.

Thanks, Jon. We've been very fortunate to get a lot of great gigs recently.

It's funny, we barely met them the night of that gig, but the next night, my band was playing in a bar and all of NRPS showed up and hung out until well past closing time. It was a lot of fun.

Sorry, Billy. This was a week ago, but they're available on their website.

Yeah. Buddy looked to be using a Dual Showman, I run a 1973 Vibrosonic Reverb, and the Twin above my amp is Michael Falzarano's.
