I have a PedalMaster Pedal Steel Guitar, built in January 2001. It's really an MSA that Mr Roy Thomas built & sold under his brand.
This guitar is like new, couldn't believe it when I found it. I told you guys that Steels pop up everywhere when you buy one.
The guitar is setup Emmons Style. The guitar has 3 pedals & 4 knee levers. The changer has 3 up & 3 down.
The case is in very good condition too. I think it has one little scar.
$1800 shipped & insured.
I also have the Jackson BlackJack for sale

I talked with Roy Thomas about this guitar...this what he said
"I can tell you one thing for sure.... you have a gem !! You would have trouble finding a guitar like you have today. This guitar has been well taken care of.
I put an aluminum neck on your guitar.... MSA never used an aluminum neck on any of their guitars. If you decide to sell this guitar, don't sell it cheap!!!"
He also told me this guitar was built in January 2001
Sorry for the confusion |

Good luck with the sale. Can not go wrong with a Pedalmaster. I was not aware that Roy used the aluminum Pedalmaster logo on any of his later guitars after he switched the name to The General. The '92 keyless Pedalmaster I sold to Daniel Cormier was the nicest guitar I ever owned. |

I don't know Roy Thomas, but I did contact him & send pictures of this guitar to him. That is when he wrote me about the guitar & it's value. He told me the S/N says it was made in 2001. Roy is a great guy, very helpful. I went thru SEARCH & found hundreds of praises about him & his work.
A preacher owned it, but didn't know anything about a Steel Guitar, so he was lost. It didn't get any play for lots of years.
However, I did know about MSA Guitars, I had a couple of them. They are one of the greats. Today they cost $5000.00 up. Having been an engineer, I can really appreciate the way they were manufactured.
If the guitar was already setup DAY, I might keep it. I think I am going to buy an inexpensive Hudson Steel, since my Steel Guitar is gonna spend it's life in my TV Room, next to the Stereo.

This guitar is built like the MSA XL SuperSustain models, in that the neck is longer & the keys are set back away from the nut.
Thanks to you folks, that know these guitars, I didn't immediately recognize that feature. |

This guitar has been sold.
It was shipped today.
Hated to see it go, it was such a pristine example of Roy Thomas' & Maurice Anderson's engineering. |
