Super nice Emmons with 4 and 5 with a BL705 pickup . Its my own personal guitar with no issues and tone to the bone. Never been in any smoke and the case is nice as well.

Sorry guys it is Emmons setup and 4th pedal raises the 6th and lowers the 1oth.

Jim, I love that red Emmons. I've seen you play it, and you're right .. it has tone to the bone. I can honestly say with experience that Jim Parker is straight up about his guitars. I should know. I've purchased two from him over the years and still have them both. I never had an issue with either one. As a novice three years ago, I started looking for a used guitar and ran across an SD10 Rains that Jim had posted. Not knowing what I was getting and knowing literally nothing about pedal steel, I spoke with a lot of people about different guitars. Jim won my confidence simply through some phone conversations we had. I purchased the Rains and Jim shipped it to me. After I looked at a video on how to set it up, I started "plunking" and stepping on pedals and realized it was totally different than the lap steel I played as a kid. Again, Jim came to my rescue by sending me a couple of CDs he made for me to get me started. Since then, I've also purchased a Mullen D10 from him. I found that playing guitars are like playing golf. If your game is not good, get another set of clubs. I've had both guitars for almost three years and never had an issue with either one. Jim is straight up about his guitars. I'm not an authority on guitars, but I've got pretty good reckoning on people and sound. If Jim says something .. you can count on him being open and honest about it. This red Emmons he has for sale can play with the best of any. I was in Misssippi and caught Jim working a show there. He's a pretty good picker, but anyone sitting behind that Emmons would sound good.

Thank you Dave and Charles for the nice comments on the guitar. I have answered all the emails and PM's that I have received.
If your serious please feel free to email me and I will gladly send out more pictures of the guitar and give you my number in case you have a question or I will call you either one. This is the kind of guitar that you will drive the wheels off the car trying to find one like it. Thanks everyone so far.

Ok guys/gals, anyone wanting a guitar that has sustain for days, plus it was modded by Tommy Young, needs to go ahead and grab this one. I'm thinkin' about buying it myself. Tone is unreal on this little red Emmons.

Hey Billy thank you for the comments buddy and hope your doing good. And your right one of the nicest guitars anyone can own.
I can also change the 4th floor pedal if anyone wants it changed to the standard franklin pedal and that's no problem.

I've owned and played several SD-10's and this has got to be one of the best if not the best sounding ones I heard. if I didn't already have a nice one it would be mine.

Jim,

the first pictures has different pick up. the last pictures has the single coil.
do you have that pick up in the last picture?

I'm looking for one like this but would like the single coil original pick up.

I have left Marshall Tucker and now doing studio, local gigs and some Nashville artist stuff that I don't need to take the D10 on.

thx....km

Kenny the guitar is Emmons setup. The 4th floor pedal raises the 6th string to a B and lowers the 10th string. LKL raises E's Lkr lowers E's LKV lowers 5 and 10 a half tone. RKL raises 1 and 2 and lowers 6 a whole tone and RKR Lowers 2 and 9. It has the 705 on it but I can purt a Wallace TT on it if you like. Sent you a PM

I wish I had the funds right now. I would buy that puppy. Tommy Young told me about that Emmons on Facebook one night. And he told about the tone on it. I am getting older, be 57 in November, and could use a more light weight guitar.
