I'm trying to sell a Marlen D-10w double neck for a late friend's estate. I've listed the guitar on Reverb.com. I know next to nothing about pedal steels. I know there are a lot of experts here. If you see any mistakes in my description, please let me know (budveazey@live.com). Also, if you have an opinion on the pricing, I'd appreciate your input in a private message. If you're interested in the guitar, make an offer.

Here's a link to the Reverb listing: https://reverb.com/item/950401-marlen-d-10w-double-neck-pedal-steel-guitary

I've asked for help from bOb. For some reason my post comes up empty. Anyhow, what I was trying to say is, I am trying to sell a Marlen D-10w for the estate of a deceased friend. I know next to nothing about pedal steels other than it takes a hell of a lot of talent to play one. The Marlen D-10w is listed on Reverb.com.

Here's the link: https://reverb.com/item/950401-marlen-d-10w-double-neck-pedal-steel-guitar

I'm hoping the forum experts will look at the description and will let me know if I got anything wrong or if there is information I should add.

I also welcome input (private message please) regarding pricing. I don't have a clue what the guitar is worth and I don't want to short change the widow or price it too high to sell.

BTW, I pay the Forum commission if a buyer learns of the listing through the SGF.

I can tell you a lot about that guitar. I checked the serial number and it is in fact the one I sold to a man in Stone Mountain GA. I don't remember his name. I hope that is not your friend that has passed. He was a good man. He bought it to learn C6.

I actually "rescued" the guitar from a junque dealer in Cleveland TN and reworked it. The only reason I sold it was because of my arthritic shoulders. I also put the wheels and handle on the case.

That thing absolutely has tone to the bone. It is a pull / release guitar. A great beginner instrument, or one to keep for a lifetime.

Below is the thread where I was working on it.

I may, in fact, be nuts. However, I am screwed onto the right bolt... Jesus!
