Bill,
You're welcome. This is the history of pedal steel guitar straight from the master, and needs to be compiled for easy reference so that it doesn't get lost.
BTW I remember seeing you with Gene Watson at the convention in the 90's.

Hey Bill
I remember that show as well. I thought it was wierd that Gene was playing at a steel show, and didn't introduce the steel player.
I've gotta get up to Granger one of these days. I've been picking with Pickens a lot lately, down in SA mostly. _________________ My rig: Infinity and Telonics.
Son, we live in a world with walls, and those walls have to be guarded by men with steel guitars. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Lt. Weinberg? |

I'm glad you did this. I was thinking about how cool it would be to have all of Buddy, Paul, other super pickers and Industry expert's posts compiled. It would be an enormous task .....but great reading/educational material. _________________ RETIRED

I came across this Buddy Emmons/Bobby Lee Quasar interview a while back. I thoroughly enjoyed reading through it!

Lest anyone think otherwise, I was *not* involved in that "interview". I just run this web site, where the questions were posted by others and answered by Buddy. _________________ -𝕓𝕆𝕓- (admin) - Robert P. Lee - Recordings - Breathe - D6th - Video |
