Thought I'd post a video of a Balcony TV spot I did recently. Sort of a clumsy little performance, but maybe this will be of some interest to those of you interested in either the Milkman or the El Capistan. They sound better in real life!

Derek, cool video! I enjoyed it. You sound great! The singer could be a bit more vocal though IMO, it was kind of hard to hear him.

Thanks, Paul. And I agree with you, by the way. It was a weird little performance--we normally play with a full band, and the recording situation on the "balcony" was not optimal.

Sounds great Derek ! I recently did a session using the el cap and my quilter amp. Waiting on the release of the album but I will share it when I get it. What settings were you using on the el cap ?

Tasteful, understated playing. Very nice.

Beautiful tone as well. I wasn't familiar with Milkman amps. Sounds great.

Very fine Derek. Very fine indeed. What Williams pickup is on your guitar?

Is the reverb coming from the Milkman or the El Cap? Or both?

Karen and Marty,

Not exactly sure what the setting would have been for that particular performance, but generally speaking, I use single tape head, mode B, with tape age at about 3 o'clock, repeats around 12 o'clock, mix at around 10 o'clock, and with the flutter all the way off. I've been setting the delay time manually with the tap function. I'm only scratching the surface of what the pedal can do--it's pretty remarkable.

Tom,

I wasn't using any of the amp's tank reverb, although it sounds great--it's all tape delay in the video.

Derek

Beautiful tone, playing, and guitar.

What is the name of that color finish on the Williams?
