Eminence EPS-15C in an Evans FET 500 LV

I have a 1990 Evans FET 500 LV. I was wondering if anyone had the Eminence EPS- 15C 4 ohm speaker in the Evans and how do you like it compared to the Eclipse speakers?

I tried one that lasted about 30 minutes and went back to the Eclipse. Accentuates the highs too much for me and lacks the depth and rich mids that the Eclipse adds. Evans are already very sensitive on the treble and, to me at least, I need a speaker that tames them. The Eclipse is a perfect match for me. As info, I had the same experience when trying a BW 1501.
