No matter what kind of volume pedal you use on stage, it sure is a good idea to have "a good ole Goodrich for backup." _________________ Lee, from South Texas - Down On The Rio Grande

Your right Lee. My Hilton let me down. My fault but I was without. Not going to happen again. _________________ Bill |

I've been using a Hilton for nigh on 12 years not and it's never let me down, but I'm anal enough that I never leave home without my Goodrich _________________ Mullen RP D10, Peavey NV112, Hilton volume. Hound Dog reso. Piles of other stuff. |

I have had two walwarts for a Hilton die on me. Both times at an outdoor gig, after sound check, just before first downbeat. Never had the pedal go south on me though. I also have a Goodrich electronic pedal that I have in my pak-a-seat as a backup. _________________ Carter D10 8p/8k, Dekley S10 3p/4k C6 setup,Regal RD40 Dobro, Recording King Professional Dobro, NV400, NV112,Ibanez Gio guitar, Epiphone SG Special (open D slide guitar) . Hilton's are fine pedals, until they're not. I've had passive pots get scratchy, but I've never had a Goodrich stop working completely. _________________ Clinesmith consoles D-8/6 5 pedal, D-8 3 pedal & A25 Frypan, Pettingill Teardrop, & P8 Deluxe. |

It's always good to have a backup pedal with you at a gig. It may be annoying to have to swap out pedals in the middle of a song; but, not nearly as annoying as not having a backup pedal to switch to!

I guess it didn't "quit completely" but when the string broke on my ShoBud pot pedal, it rendered it pretty useless. Fortunately, I had a "good ole Goodrich" as a spare!
Which could also break a string. I guess it's a good idea to have a spare, period.

I have a Goodrich L10K and another L10K always with a fresh battery with me, tried others but Goodrich is the only one I like so far, Hear Jim Palenscar may be working on something great tho for an upscale Goodrich _________________ Mullen Discovery, GK mb200 with Eminence EPS-15C, Fender steel King with Eminence EPS-15C,Nashville 400 amp, with EPS-15C,Evans FET500 with Peavey 1501 BW Goodrich L10K V.P.(2),Goodrich L120, Bose L1 PA with ToneMatch 4 Mic control board |

Several years ago Lee Baucum loaned me a Goodrich pedal until I could get a new Hilton shipped. The power cord pulled away from the pedal body inside the Hilton I was using. Went to full volume right in the middle of my solo on "Blue Bayou". I'm sure it was My Fault. Since that I carry two Hilton pedals. Thanks Lee. _________________ Mullen (Black) Pre G-2 9x7, B.L. 705 PUP's, Evans SE 200 Telonics NEO 15-4, BJS Bar, Peterson Strobo Flip, Steelers Choice Seat, Folgers Coffee and Hilton Pedals.
