When I took apart my steel to change the copedent, I made sure to take a few pictures of things of interest. Something I'm not sure about is the what appears to be a stop on the pull rod, shown below. Unfortunately, I can't remember if it was tightened when I took it apart.
Can anyone explain to me what it is, and whether it should stay on there when I put my steel back together? _________________ If something I wrote can be interpreted two ways, and one of the ways makes you sad or angry, I meant the other one.

MSA puts them on the *KL levers. If you remove them, the lever will flop all the way over in the case, and the pull rod will stick out beyond the guitar and may get Bent when you lift the guitar out of the case. _________________ 2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)

These stops must also be carefully adjusted to function properly. Set too far from the fingers, they will not prevent the pull rods from sticking out past the endplate (when you fold the levers), and this is a definite no-no. You never want pull rods sticking out past the endplate. Set them too close to the fingers, and the lowers and raises will interfere with each other.
However, once they're set properly, they require no further adjustment. |

I set mine to be just about ⅛“ from the fingers when the levers are at rest. _________________ 2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)

Thanks guys! Know where I can get any more? I need another one to finish a mechanism for a string change
I also need of the pull rod spacers, 10 of them, to be exact. I know I can get them at PSG parts, but that adds up super quickly at the quantity I need. Seems like something I might could find as raw stock. _________________ If something I wrote can be interpreted two ways, and one of the ways makes you sad or angry, I meant the other one.
