I really hate to sell this steel, but I've got no choice. This is an incredibly rare Gibson Eh-185 8 string. Includes the original case, which is worn and has been painted black.
Gibson made 10 of these steels. This thing sounds and feels amazing. Vibe city. It is very heavy due to the hyblum plate.

As you can see, the pickup, knobs, nut, and possibly logo are not original. The fingerboard is separating from the neck a bit. This could easily be address by a competent luthier.

Price drop to 950. You will most likely never see one of these for sale on the forum again. The other remaining ones are original as well, and demand a much higher price. |

I'm not sure. Someone on a previous thread said it looks to be a 50's Carvin pickup to them, but I have no clue. It sounds good. |
