I have been playing through the Telonics 500A amp with the 12" speaker since the TSGA show in March. I have never played through an amp that is as consistently good in any situation. I have always been totally against going direct out of an amp, not with this amp. The XLR output sounds better than any mic in a live situation. I have not recorded with the amp yet so I can't speak to that. This is the best amp I've ever played through.
And being the old fart I am I've resisted using electronic volume pedals. But I have once again been proven wrong. I love the Telonics FP100. Dave Beatty and all the folks at Telonics truly know what they are doing and listen to feedback.

I just bought the Telonics volume pedal and am some impressed with it. No other pedal makes my Williams sound any better than this pedal. Totally impressed.

Johnny; Sid & Daryl;

On behalf of Dave & everyone at Telonics Thank You for those comments.

Dave & his crew spent many, many hours on the development of each of the Telonics products.

Dave is very meticulous & very picky on every
product that goes out the door there at Telonics.

He firmly believes in great customer service &
satisfaction 1st & foremost.

I said all of the above because if you know Dave you
also know how very modest he truly is.

Just a superb line of products there & so glad
you recognized it & spoke up.
THANK YOU!
Ron

I have been using the Telonics combo with a 15" speaker for the last year or so. It is the best amp I have ever owned, hands down. Not only is it perfect for steel, it is an amazing amp for my archtop jazz guitar.

I am 1000000% convinced - I cannot imagine a better amp for my needs

I agree with all the above comments, and the added advantage for the touring musician is you can fly with this amp (I have the TCA500) because it is so light and robust. 17kgs/37lbs without an efx unit.

I never knew my guitars could sound so good until I heard them through the TCA-500 amp. I knew my guitars had their own unique tonal qualities, but the TCA-500 really brings out those differences very clearly. I have always heard that the tone is in the hands. I believe that to be partially true now as I know that an amp can also make the difference. When I started playing through the TCA-500, my first thought was, holy cow, is that me????
