I'm aware that this is not what the thread is about, but what are the virtues of the very narrow pedals on this model?

I'm interested in the design geometry of pedal steels in general.

Oh, and nice pad Smile

Had the wide pedals on there. They were ok but I play in tennis shoes and the wide pedals would catch the edge of my shoes and I would inadvertently hit pedals. So I modified it with the narrow pedals. Just a matter of personal preference pretty much. My first steel had narrow pedals and that's what I got used to.

Hello Jason, The pad looks great. How is logo affixed to the pad? Is it a sticker?

I really like the looks of your pad...you did a great job with it...nice addition to an already good looking steel from what I can see. Is it stitched ? It looks raised. Anyway I like it.. Good work !

A family member has an embroidery machine. She put the logo on the vinyl for me. Then I did the cutting and covering. Got about 12 bucks in the whole deal. Worked out great!!
