Found this in a local shop. Sticker is $1,000. Said they would sell it for $850.
It has no legs, nor sockets to even connect legs. No case. 2 outputs, but they are both the old style connectors.
What would be a reasonable offer for it?
thanks guys,

I had one exactly like it. It's a very early double neck National with No neck Selector Switch. There are two separate amphenol connectors (outputs), each neck having an independent output. So you would need to use an A/B box to switch between necks, or maybe a Y adaptor to run both outputs, but that would diminish the output and tone of each neck IMO. I would go with an A/B box - into one amp. Or you could run each output to a different amp.
Mine had the very rare 8-string Valco string-through pickup (two of them). I think that one may have the same. The guitar looks pretty clean. I would offer about $600 if I wanted it. Be sure to test it through an amp before making an offer. One pickup may be weaker than the other. A lot of Nationals from that era have electronics and wiring problems. _________________ My Site / My YouTube Channel
