Multi Octave Scale Patterns

I have been feeling a little stuck technique wise, so I thought I would go back and work on some multi-octave scales to break out of the same old patterns. I use this sort of diagonal approach (both across the strings and up and down the neck simultaneously) when playing 6 string a lot, but need to get better at it on steel.

Here is a simple major scale example using A and B pedals only, key of G, two octave

Obviously there are lots of other ways to get the notes, could use D and F levers and other picking patterns for different permutations of when to slide and when to actuate a pedal.

I am looking for thoughts on which pattern is easiest to play, which sounds to most in tune, other factors. Obviously learning multiple ways and being able to mix and match at will is the ultimate goal.

Nice to play. I have a question though. I'm used to A B C pedal setup left to right. Is this written for the set up that goes from right to left(which I know nothing about)? Or, did you mean the B where it says A and the A where it says B? Or, am I missing something else?

Robert is right, I mixed up the A and B's, I edited it and its right now. I was playing it right but had typos in the tab.

I agree with Bobby on the movements on the first and second strings. Cause where i use to play , the band use to do a lot of exploding fast bluegrass music. And in the words of Joe Wright," Movement is Music". I can always move my bar faster than pushing on my pedals. But it takes a lots and lots of practice to get that speed..

Now i'm confused !!! In the second tab you are using the ''b'' pedal on the sixth string at the 10 -th fret and using the ''a'' pedal on the third string at the 15-th fret . Both of these are g# notes . Am i missing something also . G.P.
