According to what I gathered from Jim Webb, this is a "75" model with an ElectroVoice SRO speaker. Serial no. 713. Jim told me he started his numbers at 600 but Tom Bradshaw a few years ago said 621. Either way it's a gem and old! I'm not shipping this amp out, I want to sell this out right. I don't have the proper materials and I'm hoping there are a few steelers that make their way up to the north woods once in a while. If I can't sell it, I'll consider shipping. $1200 and also has a nice cover. Loren.

Pretty!! The minute I saw Jeff Newman with a red Webb at a seminar, I called Jim and became a dealer - prettiest thing I ever saw. I think mine was the first Webb that Lynn Owlsely ever played through at a Moose Lodge in Palmetto Florida when the Troubadors used our equipment and I see he still plays through a red Webb. Trust me folks, there aren't any better amps on the planet - I'd still have one if I could lift it. BTW - don't know when I started carrying them but all the ones he shipped me had JBL's in 'em. My old bass player from those days is still using one of the bass heads - it just keeps on going. I always wanted one of the 12" guitar amps in that ice blue color that was on the catalog but never got one. For some weird reason I sold it and switched to Evans when they were still in Texarkana. Good luck with your sale - whoever gets it will get a gem for sure!!

Hey Skip, sounds like everyone that owns or had a Webb came with a JBL. I'm wondering how many different types of speakers were used and how many EV's were put into their amps? I love the sound of this thing, wow! Loren.

Loren,
When I bought my Webb, it came with a Black Widow speaker. From what I could read, it seems like the prefered speaker was a JBL so that's what I put in.
If I didn't already have a Webb, I'd be beating a path to your door. A great amp!! Very Happy

My Webb came with a JBL but it now has one of the older 'coffee can' SROs in it. Sounds amazing.
