I love Hawaiian Steel Guitar but I don't know much of the history of its players. My good friend in Hawaii sent me this documentary about the band "The Sons of Hawaii" It tells a beautiful story of the musicians and their love for the hawaiian style of playing. It's quite touching. The players were, Gabby ? on slack Key, Eddie Kamae on Uke, Joe Marshall on Bass and David "Feet" Rogers on Steel.
It's beautifuly filmed and the soundtrack has a lot of steel in it. It runs 90 minutes.
If you'd like a copy, go over to "Buy and Sell" to see the ordering info.

The "Gabby" in question is Gabby Pahinui. I have a couple of LPs by the Sons of Hawaii and they're excellent.
