I've been in contact with Bill's family. I'll post more info in the proper area. Bill is/was a larger-than-life guy here who certainly posted some amazing bits of verbiage until a year or so ago.

Unfortunately he isn't doing as well as he might. Please keep an eye out over at the family and friends section where I'll post the address of his convalescence home and some news.

Your thoughts toward him could make a big difference in Bill's life.

I don't think you can get a hold of him via the forum. He has a Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/massbash.billhankey?fref=ts) and I posted his mail address over in extended family.

I've been hearing bits and pieces from other musicians, fans, friends in the area. As far as I know, Bill is in a rehab/nursing home facility here in western Mass. A few months ago he fell and broke his hip, or possibly his leg, and went to the hospital and then to rehab. He's also on dialysis now. I don't think he has internet access and it sounds like he's not much interested in it any more. I don't know what facility he's in, but I do know that he's been in there for several months now.

I posted the assisted care facilities address for Bill on the Family and Friends section Steve. You can write him there. I'm sure he'd love to hear from you.
