Just got a song in to do a steel overdub on in the morning, Fairytale by The Pointer Sisters. Not sure who the artist is, but the track is a little faster than the Pointer's version and in a different key. But, they want me to play it just like the original! Hope I can do Weldon Myrick justice...... _________________ reggie.duncan.9275@facebook.com |

Hi Reggie,
Hope all is well there in MS. Many of the steel parts on Fairytale were "influenced" by some of Tommy Jackson's fiddle parts behind Ray Price.
Sincerely,
Craig Baker

I was on Facebook this morning and a friend of mine who is a big Elvis fan, posted his version of this song. I knew that I had heard it before, but didn't know who did the original.
It is a great song, and should be revived.
Good luck with your version.
