Cool.
I used to live in Missouri and in the 90's I had "STL GTR" for a custom tag. Only problem, some thought the "STL" stood for "St Louis" and not the intended "Steel". |

Well, if they're lucky, they'll get sent to Cuba where they will run forever (as long as they keep making duct tape and chewing gum...)

This truck is gone after 7 years and 120K miles, but the tags are now on my new truck.

Also a Zum D10, a Mullen RP, and a restored Rose S10, named the "Blue Bird". Also, I have acquired and restored the plexiglass D10 MSA Classic that was built as a demo in the early '70s. I also have a '74 lacquer P/P, with wood necks, and a showroom condition Sho-Bud Super Pro.

Nice touch, David. Must have cost quite a bit, I guess. Or maybe not, since noone outside the steel community will make any sense of the combination
Anyway, you need to get a new car to go with the plate. A BMW E9-series, which also happens to be one of the best looking cars ever built. This one was mine for a couple of years, it now resides in Tromsø, way above the Arctic circle in Norway,

The 1-IV-V and STL-GTR ones are neat. Real conversation starters, I'll bet. 
Hmm; I think Maine DMV has a Web page where you can see if a particular combination of characters (letters and numbers, not "characters" like us  ) has been issued. |
