Just saw this on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=2384&item=3734459146&rd=1

and was curious as to what made this one an "SP"....was the SP designation reserved for the LDGs that were not green, perhaps?

Joe "SP" means "Special Paint"; as those are the ones that were ordered in a different color. I believe Paul Franklin Sr. was responsible for those "Special Paint" LDG's.
That one looks to be the very last model Shobud made.

I always thought the SP meant that it had Super Pro guts underneath it. Shows how much I know or in this case don't know.

Funny thing is....when I first saw the above-linked guitar pop up on eBay, it had a Buy It Now price of $1,600.....and it would up selling for over $1,800!!! Who'd have thunk it? Me personally.....I would only want a green LDG. :P
