started playing about 4 months ago learning some but i want personal instruction. i am looking for people living around the moberly missouri area even if your a beginner thats ok we both can learn together and help each other. thanks sid

Sidney, Maybe this is a start. Danny Hoff is the only steel player I know in the Kansas City area. I just don't know my way around that area.
Maybe Dan can give you some names.

You're not all that far from St. Louis. I suggest you schedule a couple of hours with Don Curtis at Scotty's. It'd be worth the drive. |

You may find it quite rewarding to join your local steel guitar association. You will find many fine people with tremendous experience and insight. They love to help new ones. They will be able to help you find people that live close to you, too. |
