They all are great players, but it's a poor attempt at humor.

I think it the most funny thing I've seen in a long time! I looked at many comments on other sites and also re-posted it a lot. MOST of the commenters practically died laughing. The insertion of the clapping, audience comments, musical instruments were just brilliant. There are 1000's of these shreds/spoofs being posted. Many of them are funny and not mean spirited at all. To appreciate them, you first have to understand how brilliant the original video players were.

Much like the Statler Brothers - Lester 'Roadhog' Moran and the Cadillac Cowboys
"Alive At The Johnny Mack Brown High School" with Chek Ackins!

You mean someone edited the perfomance to be out of tune after it was played properly? I thought they did it live and on purpose.

I almost spit out my coffee laughing! Whoever edited it did a good job of synching the bogus audio to the video. People have been doing these kinds of videos for years on youtube, but the artists usually have the videos removed when they find out about them.

Greg, I remember Lester Roadhog Moran well! Back in the 80's that recording was epic around here. The guys in the band called me "Wichita"!

Greg, this cracked me up! You posted this link on the "lifting bar" thread too, where I first saw it. Scaggs sounded like Cartman from Southpark. Perfectly synced audio, these guys are pros!

Father in the audience: "Boys is good huh sweety!?"
Daughter: "Uh-uhh!"

I had to watch it again so my wife could hear it too, we were both in tears. LaughingLaughing

This is one of the most hilarious things that I have seen in a long time. A band I used to be in tried to work out this song once and I think my steel part was almost as good as in the video!

Brad's keyboard player Kendal Marcy also plays banjo, and also in the video is Justin Williamson on fiddle, Gary Hooker on guitar, Kenny Lewis on bass, Randle Currie on steel, and Ben Sesar on drums.

Sad thing is most of the country bands in Florida really sound like this!
