Hello my fellow steelers!
Once again, while going through my library I came across my first upload of my attempt to share my music From the broadway production, and musical "Porgy, and Bess", now in public domain. A lilting, haunting melody to calm the soul. This was my rendition! In our forum. The date was March 10th. 2009. With shaking hands, I played this from the depths of my heart. I hope now as I hoped then, that it would be enjoyed.

Ron, that was a great performance. As Chuck said, it's full of emotion. I like your choice of improvisational phrases in this song and vibrato technique also.

Hiya Carl!(Kilmer-"Lucky" Dr. Smooth")
Believe me old friend, it was a long time ago that I tried to play it as well,(About 50-100 takes) before I got something that sounded reasonable,(Ha-ha)to be sure. Anyway old friend, thanks for listening in. As always, it makes me feel good to know that it made someone like you, and others feel good, because that is what I am always trying to do. God Bless, my friend, and the best to the family.
Ron Smile
