I picked up a CS and want to replace the strings. The manual calls for a couple deviations from what's currently packaged. Namely, the 6/10 strings. The book calls for .022W and .036 respectively. Most packs come .020p and .038. Should I just get as close as I can or buy a la carte?
Thanks,
Bryan

The .038 vs. .036 is small difference that you could work around but the diff between the wound and the unwound 6th string is a very big deal in terms of tuning the pedal.

Here's what you want. It's your choice between Nickel & Stainless, but I'd probably choose the nickel for the C-S.

Thanks Jon. I had been on that website, but wasn't aware there was a CS package.

Ernie Ball E-9 sets come with a wound .022, the tenth string is a .038 but as stated, that can easily be adjusted for.
