I am selling my Fender Stringmaster T-8 SN#3296. 24 inches from nut to bridge. All original closet classic, very clean. Has a few nicks, but the finish is in great cond. Tried to get some pictures of the condition of the finish. Beautiful guitar in perfect working order. All chrome is clean as a whistle. Still has the original case key! Case is in nice shape, a little wear on the leather corner, over all it's pretty awesome. 1700 shipped in the lower 48 states. Buyer pays paypal fee. I'll try to answer any questions I can. Thanks, Terry

Fender didn't make a 24" scale Stringmaster. |

Thanks for clearing that up guys. I measured from the inside of the nut to the inside of the bridge. I knew it wasn't a 24 inch scale, just not sure if it was considered 22 ish or 24 1/2 inch scale. Any input is appreciated. 2200 is the asking price...I'm open to offers |

Some wiki info
The original 1953 models had a long scale length, at 26". From 1954 the scale length was reduced, and two shorter lengths were available, 24.5" and 22.5", both with 31 frets. To determine the guitar's scale count the markers past the 24th fret; there are 2, 3, and 4 markers for the 22.5", 24.5", and 26" guitars respectively. |
