I haven't read the whole article and your U-tube link is blocked over here. Dennis McGee the fiddle player mentioned is the great guitar player Gerry McGee's father.

Joachim - I had no idea Gerry McGhee was Dennis McGhee's son! I actually have met Gerry McGhee. He came into RCA Studio B one day just to look around. He had cut with the Monkees there. He was telling me he used to plug into a small Fender amp and then plug that into a larger Fender amp to get his sound. It figures his father would also be a master.
