Just switched from George L cables to Rattlesnake because I got tired of occasional failures and having to troubleshoot. To my ear, they allow a clearer and more natural, rounded sound with plenty of high end. Harmonics are now easier. I'm happy. Everything matters when it comes to tone. _________________ 2016 Williams D12 8 x 8, 2015 Williams D12 8 x 8, 2023 Williams S12 4 x 5, Milkman Amps, 1974 Gibson Byrdland |

I've had guys in numerous bands stomp, drop equipment on and jerk out George-L cables from the amp jack and never had a failure yet.
It just doesn't get any better than to simply cut the cable, shove it in the connector and screw it down and go to work. Soldering is just a pain in the butt.
As for the question of highs and lows,I really hear no difference between George-L's and any other brand I've ever used and George-L's are much more compact to roll up and put in a pac-a-seat than some of the larger cable out there.
Just my observation. _________________ Cops aren't paid much so I steel at night. |

This company is based out of my town. I was skeptical at first, but have been converted.
Their cables are a pleasure to handle/touch, and sound wonderful. Hank has a spotless reputation among the local musicians.
He also does custom builds at a very affordable rate. A real pro. I'm sure other brands could be comparable, but hard to beat a handmade, custom order. |
