| Zane Becks keyless that he played for several years befor he gave too Zane King. This steel will be treasured buy King family. Zane uses this steel in studio along with other BMIs from time to time . Plays as good as new after Thirty five years. |

| This Zking steel has a complete Emmons all pull changer , Half inch maple top an aprons , an sounds like a Emmons . Guess the changer has a lot too do with Emmons sound. One size tuning wrench for pedals, knees an string changes. Verible adjustment on pedal ball hook up. X brace pedal rod material with turn buckles for rock solid stance. |

Well, here's mine - some of you will have seen it before
A lot of keyless tuners seem to retain the roller nut and pull the string longitudinally with a threaded slider.
As I had no idea how to go about making a roller nut, I built what is really a miniature pull release changer which lives permanently in release mode with the fingers resting on the tuning screws. They have a mechanical advantage of about 5:1 so are very positive and light to tune. Here it is assembled
and here it is nickel plated and fitted on the guitar
I don't have to lift the bar to use the open strings - I can just slide right over the end.

Here's the twin to Lee's keyless. Note that I had the stock changer and string hold downs replaced with the new 700's model. The string hold downs are called "top hat".
