ProCo Rat 2 from Auldridge estate (Sale Pending)

I'm selling a Pro Co Rat 2 Distortion pedal from the estate of Mike Auldridge.

Here's the story: After MA passed away Beard Guitars sold some of his equipment on eBay including his personal MA-6 and MA-8. One of the items was a pair of Rat distortion pedals. I was in the market for a distortion pedal at the time, so I bid and won the auction.

This model pedal was produced from 1987 to the present. It has the older LM308 op amp (the desirable one according people who care about that sort of thing!), so it's probably pre-2002 production.

It's a pretty decent distortion pedal for lap steel or guitar. You can dial in a wide range of distortion. Google "Pro Co Rat 2" or search the Steel Guitar Forum and you'll see lots of favorable comments.

The pedal has the nicks and dings you'd expect from a pedal that was dragged around to gigs.

I don't have any sort of Certificate of Authenticity. I did print out the eBay page after I won the auction. Here is a shot showing the serial numbers.

One pedal had some gaffers tape residue and a loose battery clip. I replaced the battery clip and cleaned up the pedal.

It's pretty cool owning and using a pedal that was owned by MA. I don't need two so I'd like to get the other in the hands of someone who would enjoy it.

I'm asking $110 for the pedal. I just want to recover my cost. I paid $157 + $25 shipping for the pair. If I sell it there are fees for Paypal, USPS shipping and the SGF donation. I live in Palo Alto and work in San Jose. If you want to arrange an in person, cash deal I'll sell it for $100.
