Does anybody know much about these or play one? I can't find much info on them and wondered roughly when they were made and what level of quality to expect from one. |

Thanks David. Are these guitars mechanically good as a rule (I know a lot depends on the condition of the individual instrument)? Just wondered as Sierra are no longer in business and I don't want to buy something which will prove difficult to maintain. |

Thanks Bobby, I presumed they'd be sound as most people seem to speak of Sierras in glowing terms. If I do get one it'll be my first 12 string so I think it'll take quite a while before I've explored enough to need to change the copedent. |

Warning: they're heavy. Mine's about 90 lbs. in the case. |

Ditto that b0b..My Sierra 'Olympic' was very sturdy, reliable and built like a tank and weighed a little like one..but so many 'Cool' features such as the Eb lever lock and interchangeable pick-up slot not to mention the fold out legs..Nice Horn.
