Lately I've enjoyed hearing the Turnpike Troubadours. Does anyone know who plays steel with them on the recordings and the tours? |

Jim,
A few months back, I ran into R.C. Edwards, the bassist for the Troubadours, at the barbershop here in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and he told me that Kyle Nix (Fiddle Player for the group) played some pedal steel for them on tour. I don't know who the group uses for recording...could be Kyle as well. A great group of fine musicians and making Oklahoma very proud! Carl |

I think Roger Ray from Jason Boland & the Stragglers played some on their first album. |

Love their music! I cover a number of their songs with local musicians pretty frequently. |
